Carpus

Car′pus (kär′pŭs), n.; pl. Carpi (- pī). [NL., fr. Gr. καρπός wrist.] (Anat.) The wrist; the bones or cartilages between the forearm, or antibrachium, and the hand or forefoot; in man, consisting of eight short bones disposed in two rows.
