Cer·ca′ri·a (sẽr·kā′rĭ·ȧ), n.; pl. Cercarle [NL., fr. Gr. κέρκος tail.] (Zoöl.) The larval form of a trematode worm having the shape of a tadpole, with its body terminated by a tail-like appendage.
