Fishhawk

Fish′hawk′ (fĭsh′ha̤k′), n. (Zoöl.) The osprey (Pandion haliaëtus), found both in Europe and America; — so called because it plunges into the water and seizes fishes in its talons. Called also fishing eagle, and bald buzzard.
