Paramorph

Par′a·morph (păr′ȧ·môrf), n. [Pref. para- + Gr. μορφή form.] (Min.) A kind of pseudomorph, in which there has been a change of physical characters without alteration of chemical composition, as the change of aragonite to calcite.
