Spas′tic (spăs′tĭk), a. [L. spasticus, Gr. σπαστικός, fr. σπᾶν to draw: cf. F. spastique. See Spasm.] (Med.) Of or pertaining to spasm; spasmodic; especially, pertaining to tonic spasm; tetanic.
