Stumbling-block

Stum′bling-block′ (·blĭng·blŏk′), n. Any cause of stumbling, perplexity, or error.

We preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling-block, and unto the Greeks foolishness. 1 Cor. i. 23.
