Thinolite

Thin′o·lite (thĭn′ō·līt), n. [Gr. θίς, θινός, shore + -lite.] (Min.) A calcareous tufa, in part crystalline, occurring on a large scale as a shore deposit about the Quaternary lake basins of Nevada.
